Moments in time
Moments. Little moments.
Sometimes big moments.
But, still, just moments.
Clips.
Snippets.
Glimpses.

We get to choose which moments we share.
We don’t always get to choose which one remember, though.
Some are good. Some not so good.
Some are horrible and haunt us in our sleep.
Some wrap us in gratitude and laughter and love.

Some moments feel isolated – pulled away from everything else we know; from everything else we are.

And others blend into each other… the mundane tasks of day to day life.

But all are precious (yes even the bad ones) because they mean we have a moment… we have a moment in time… we have a moment of life.

We only get so many of those.
So many moments.
So many minutes.
So many hours.
So many days.

We never know when those moments will cease.
We never know when our time will be over.
And maybe we live on in the memory of those moments shared with others.
But some moments – some of our most important moments – are ours alone. And those moments go with us when we die.
We carry those secret moments like whispers.
