📚Review: None of This is True by Lisa Jewell

First, let me say that I’m always generous with stars. If a book fully knocks me off my feet it’ll get a bonus (6/5). As an author, I know how much work goes into writing books and even if they aren’t my particular style, I think that effort should be rewarded with high stars and suggestions for who would most enjoy the book, because reading is often a subjective experience.

That all said, this book earned all five of its stars in my opinion. We all know that Lisa Jewell is the queen of thriller but this book really turned up the dial.

For me, the addition of the podcast and Netflix element really pulled me in. Especially now that more podcasts and true crime are hosted on Netflix.

I literally struggled to put this one down.

I laid in bed turning pages and dozing between sentences then pulling myself back to consciousness just long enough to read a few more. (Things could be said about my sleep hygiene but we won’t go there lol).

I won’t spoil this but I will say you will love it if you like:

• true crime (though this is fiction lol)
• thrillers
• psychological mystery
• thinking you’re a step ahead as a reader but then maybe you’re not…

Edge of your seat thriller for sure.
